KASSIDY- ONE MAN ARMY NEW SINGLE!

Glasgowfour-piece Kassidy will release the title track from their second album ‘One Man Army’ as their new single on 18th June 2012.
Through old fashioned talent, hard work and gigs taking them from small club shows to major stage festival slots in little over a year, not to mention a debut album - ‘Hope St’ - full of Glasgow grit and harmony, Kassidy have become one of Scotland’s biggest bands. Their December sold-out headline show at the Barrowland Ballroom will live long in the memories of their passionate army of fans. ‘One Man Army’ is set to spread Kassidy’s success much further afield.
Kassidy’s trademark stage set-up of all four guys – Hamish Fingland, Barrie James O’Neill, Chris Potter and Lewis Andrew (left to right above) - with four guitars in a line across the front of the stage is as direct and honest as the band themselves. They live together in their own studio, immersed in the music and able to put in a spine-tingling performance of acoustic purity or rock’n’roll excess as the circumstances demand.
‘One Man Army’ was recorded in an intense week at the legendary Rockfield Studios by long-time collaborator Thomas McNeice (Gang Of Four). It was mixed by McNeice and Mike Crossey (Arctic Monkeys, Black Keys, Two Door Cinema Club) and mastered at Abbey Road Studios.
